About Our Association
In 1994, Central MDA offered opportunities to organize MDA Yangon Branch.
In 2016, MDA Yangon EC members are elected democratically by dentists in Yangon.
From August 2016 to January 2018, MDA Yangon Regional Branch actively performed dental treatment field trips, hands on course, Continuing dental educations, including dissemination of HE, Social & sport activities, and Yangon Dental Festival,
MDA Yangon Regional Branch has grown to become leading source of oral health related information and activities for dentists and for the patient to improve oral health.
Our Mission
- To gain excellence of oral health care nationally through promotion of Ethics and Professionalism.
- To upgrade the capacity of members through continuing education keeping abreast with developing technologies and materials.
- To cooperate and collaborate with regional and global national dental association.
- To disseminate oral health education among the people.
- To provide volunteer dental treatments to people in outreached areas.
- To promote research in dental and general health domains.
- To interact with other health care stakeholders.
